AEOS Robotic Digital Microscope launched in the US in 2019. Due to many effects from the pandemic, sales haven’t been as robust as they would like and Aesculap was not meeting its goals. Although AEOS addresses many of the market pain points over traditional optical microscopes, it requires behavior change among neurosurgeons so adoption has been slow. As an expensive piece of equipment it has been challenging for Aesculap to influence prospective purchasers to invest in this newer technology.

Aesculap engaged us to develop a campaign for AEOS to help generate awareness and demand through consistent, differentiated storytelling. Aesculap has an opportunity to elevate its brand, refine messaging and more effectively promote the AEOS as a platform aimed at improving patient outcomes while easing the physical burden for neurosurgeons and appeal to C-suite executives by drawing in physician talent to their hospital and local communities. 

We shot the instrument with an expensive sports car aesthetic in mind using minimal and dramatic lighting to heighten its high-tech appeal and emphasize details that set AEOS apart from the competition.
